EARTH OF WATER
One of the riches of Caudiel are its sources. Some of them are found in places such as the a Higuera and the Cabaira, which in turn are listed as places of high ecological value. Taking a tour of its paths, you can see maples or yew trees. In the Parc de la Grieta, the diverse ecosystems of the Valencian Community are represented. Its waters, its landscapes, its contrasts; There is much to discover.
TASTES OF ALTO PALANCIA
Apart from its rich cuisine, say Caudiel are cherries. In its fields the autochthonous variety of the “short tail” is cultivated, the most precious in the markets. The cherry festival serves to taste and promote the juicy fruit. A day to mark in red on the calendar.
TRACES OF HISTORY
Caudiel has a particular orography since it is located on two small hills. Its narrow streets, a cozy old town and relevant buildings invite us to visit it with attention. The most emblematic, the Torre del Molino, which some relate to Hannibal. The convent of the Discalced Carmelites with its impressive walls and the treasures that the parish church hides, one of the greatest exponents of the Valencian Baroque will make us not want to lose detail.
ACTIVE IN ALTO PALANCIA
Caudiel is linked to the Greenway of Ojos Negros. One of the 15 tunnels of the old mining road crosses below the population. It is a tunnel of more than 200 meters. On the Greenway you can also see the spectacular viaduct of Fuensanta. A route full of suggestions.
